What is a reference number?

A reference number is a unique identifier assigned to a transaction or piece of information. It is typically used to track and manage transactions, and to make it easier to find and retrieve information.

Reference numbers can be used for a variety of purposes, such as:

  • Tracking the status of a transaction, such as a payment, order, or shipment

  • Identifying and managing customer accounts

  • Retrieving information from a database, such as a customer's contact information or order history

  • Verifying the authenticity of a document or transaction

Also, for our pooled accounts we provide a unique reference number for our customers. Please notify your counterparties to always indicate this number before sending funds to our pooled accounts.

You can find this reference number in the account details in web/mobile app.
