Which account will be charged if my transaction currency doesn’t have enough funds?

If your balance in the transaction currency is insufficient, we’ll follow this order:

  • First, we check the currency of the transaction (e.g., USD for a USD payment).
  • Next, we check your base currency accountGBP for UK customers and EUR for EU customers.

For example:

  • A UK customer making a USD payment: we check USD → GBP
  • An EU customer making a DKK payment: we check DKK → EUR
